Abstract
Tourism has long been recognized as playing a significant role in more traditional societies. 1 Many authors have attempted to address the mechanisms and processes involved in this impact, but only a few have focused specifically on Native American reservations in the United States.2-S Smaller still is the number who have specifically examined the management of tourism on Native American reservations.
