Abstract
We conclude the text with a discussion about how our Lilliberation framework for the front lines of the bureaucracy can offer direction for the future. Specifically, we argue in our final chapter that much can be learned from the case studies reviewed in this book, using the Lilliberation framework as a descriptive model to provide numerous insights for students, scholars, and practitioners. Moreover, part of our learning process is that we will continue to grapple with our identity as a field and profession. However, the status quo, with a white-centric lens, in our classrooms and professions is unacceptable. In this edited volume, we offer voices of change—narratives that reflect our profession and practice.
