Abstract

The authors have developed, and are now operationally testing an interactive, integrated decision support system (TEAMS) for multiresource project analysis. The system consists of a geographic information system, a relational database management system, a multiresource simulation model, economic algorithms, a constrained optimization model, a graphics output package, and the software which controls the flow of information among the modules, as well as between the user and the TEAMS software. Describes testing the decision support system operationally on multiresource project analyses ranging from 2500 to 20 000 acres. -from Authors
