Abstract

We have developed and are now operationally testing TEAMS, an interactive, integrated decision support system for multiresource project analysis. The system consists of a geographic information system, a relational database management system, a multiresource simulation model, economic algorithms, a constrained optimization model, a graphics output package, and the software that controls the flow of information among the modules as well as between the user and the TEAMS software. We are currently testing the decision support system operationally on multiresource projects ranging from 2500 to 20 000 acres in size. -from Authors
