Abstract
The cuticle surface (CS) and excretory/secretory (ES) proteins of mature Nematospiroides dubius males and females were analysed by radio-iodination, immunoprecipitation and electrophoresis. The dominant antigen(s) in both sexes was of 55,000/60,000 Mr and was clearly two distinct proteins in CS but only one large diffuse band in ES. A male specific antigen of 66,000 Mr was present in both CS and ES. Female specific antigens occurred at 180,000 Mr in CS and ≫200,000 and 30,000 Mr in ES.
