title = "Scanning gate imaging of transport within an InGaAs QPC",
abstract = "Quantum transport in a quantum point contact of InGaAs has been successfully visualized using a low temperature scanning gate microcopy. The images involves three kinds of features: (i) conductance fluctuations due to quantum interference, (ii) characteristic peaks corresponding to the propagating mode, (iii) a static-peak pattern observed just before the pinch-off condition. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the image reveal that the area distribution has a peak at around 2.5 × 104 nm2 and follows Gaussian unitary ensemble. It is consistent with a distribution of frequency components of the magneto conductance fluctuations of the quantum point contact.",
