Abstract

Integrated innovation is an important mechanism to realize China's indigenous innovation. In this paper, from perspective of China's indigenous innovation, we define integrated innovation from multiple dimensions. In each dimension, intellectual property management and policy have different emphasis. We analyze intellectual property management at the firm and industry levels, propose the concept of the integrated innovation capacity of a country based on China's intellectual property strategic plan, and study how to develop the integrated innovation capacity of a nation. We believe that intellectual property management is essential for the evolution of the integrated innovation at the firm, industry, and country levels.
