Abstract
Eggs of the pine tussock moth, Dasychira pinicola (Lepidoptera: Lymantriidae), were successfully parasitized in the laboratory by the gypsy moth egg parasitoid Ooencyrtus kuvanae (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae). This is the first report of O. kuvanae parasitizing this species. The pine tussock moth is a pest species in Wisconsin and may be considered as an alternate host for O. kuvanae.
