Abstract
We describe a scheme for adaptively generating array receiver-antenna weights so as to reduce jamming interference of the GPS signal to a level where the spread spectrum mechanism can extract the signal. The procedure is based on an analytic implementation of the Ims algorithm, with gradients evaluated simply by determination of the power in certain mathematical combinations of the array outputs. The scheme converges so rapidly that it is very robust to vehicular motion and the presence of noise.
