Abstract
In December 2024, Doreen Thierauf and Lauren Pinkerton—co-conveners of the 25th meeting of the Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-Century British Women Writers Association (BWWA), held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017—interviewed Donelle Ruwe and Roxanne Eberle, former long-time co-chairs of the BWWA and two of its founding members. The interview highlights the professional space the organization has fostered for scholars of British women’s writing and reflects upon the challenges of organizing in-person conferences in today’s academic landscape.
