In situ transmission electron microscopy observation of the appearance and disappearance of channels in Al-Mn thin films

Abstract

In this paper the observation of the appearance and disappearance of channels in Al-Mn thin films during a heating treatment is reported. This observation was made in situ in a transmission electron microscope using a heating holder. This is the first time that a report on such a phenomenon has been made.
