Improving LGS sky coverage at gemini north

Abstract

We report on work being done to operate the GN Altair LGS AO system using PWFS2 to track (i.e. TT correction) with a guide star at 6'-7' from the LGS target as opposed to an NGS TT star within the Altair FoV (25").
