Abstract
Even the agricultural sector in the frontline states has fallen victim to South African destabilization and the political exigencies of Western governments. In its efforts to ensure regional food security, SADCC has found its agricultural policies under intense scrutiny, and the advice being offered may not be in the best interests of the region's farmers. -Author
