Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the evaluation of school principals from the perspective of Arizona school district superintendents. All superintendents received a survey inquiring about the structure, process, and criteria for evaluating the principals serving in their districts. The most and least frequently used criteria utilized in determining principal performance were identified.
