Abstract

The authors regret that the printed version of the above article contained a number of errors. The correct and final version follows. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. 1. The soil moisture content (SMC) units are “cm3/cm3” and not “ml/ml”. Therefore, the correct cm3/cm3 results are reported here with updated text in Section 3.1, Figs. 2, and 3. The correction does not affect the corresponding descriptions and the conclusions of this article.Section 3.1 paragraph 1 On average, the vegetated plots (0.1275 ± 0.0007 cm3/cm3) had a lower soil moisture content than the control of unvegetated plots (0.1525 ± 0.0007 cm3/cm3; Fig. 2a). Fig. 2. The title of horizontal axis in Fig. 2a is “SMC (cm3/cm3)”. Fig. 3 The title of vertical axis in Fig. 3a, c is “SMC020 (cm3/cm3)” and “SMC20180 (cm3/cm3)”, respectively. 2. A funding project number was wrong in the “Acknowledgements”. The funding number should be changed from 41871164 to 41871194.
