Abstract
Sara Coleridge Coleridge (1802–52), the daughter of Samuel Taylor Coleridge, was a brilliant scholar who authored children's literature, scholarly essays and reviews, and translations of Latin and French texts. She was also the primary editor of her father's works and is largely responsible for establishing Samuel Taylor Coleridge as an important Victorian sage.
