N2 - A method to include the unique cultural and contextual backgrounds of Native Americans into the career assessment process is discussed in this article. The cultural and contextual differential assessment method focuses on five cultural differentials that are language usage, cultural orientation, home community, family system, and communication style. Cultural and Contextual Decision Paths are identified that provide practical guides for use by counselors and clients.
